Care continues at Daulton Physical Therapy, uninterrupted, both in the clinic and through virtual visits with our therapists. Virtual visits have become a useful and secure way to begin or continue care when patients are not able to visit our clinic.
As our communities have incorporated measures to protect our health during this pandemic, we here at Daulton PT have continued patient care, while remaining diligent in maintaining the recommended safeguards in our clinic. While some patients have needed critical treatment, pain relief, or injury assessments in our clinic, many are finding virtual visits to be a beneficial and secure way to begin or continue care during this time.
Our patients are using virtual visits to:
Build a plan to address new injuries, aches, or pains
Check-in with their therapist and share updates about their progress or setbacks
Review exercises and get important feedback on proper form and progress HEP safely
Learn creative ways to stay active during this time at home
Adjust home workstations to avoid symptoms caused by poor ergonomics
Learn safe ways to move through common household tasks like laundry, vacuuming, and gardening
Most importantly, we are able to provide our patients with the care they need to avoid further injury or decline common with taking time away from their plan of care.
Virtual visits are conducted by a therapist through a simple and easy to use video program on your smartphone, tablet, laptop, or computer. The connection is secure and HIPAA compliant.
Although we continue to see the critical importance of an in-clinic visit, we do however understand the benefits of this virtual option in providing therapy and maintaining progress when patients cannot visit our clinics for any reason.
