She incorporates self-management techniques, Diet, and Exercise therapy, including Pilates, to complement her manual approach as a means to restore the full function of the involved tissue. Her motto is “Total Body Balance” where all the systems of the body can function as they were originally designed to do – becoming a resilient, self-sufficient, self-healing machine!
Jolene graduating from UW-Madison in 1987, then moved to Colorado to explore the Rockies and start her career as a physical therapist. Throughout her many years as a PT, she treasures the variety of experiences that have shaped her into the PT she is today. She taught Well Back schools, designed the Coors Back Conditioning Program, did FCEs, then went onto sports rehab and fitness facilities, back conditioning/ Med Ex clinics, managed a physical performance testing lab for work comp injuries and high-end athletes, did home care, worked in nursing home settings, and private practice clinics, and eventually owned her own business as a consultant to Health clubs, expert witness to legal teams, and specialized in utilization management for insurance groups. All this led up to her fulfilling her dream of opening her own outpatient clinic in 2014 in Hudson, Wisconsin – Daulton Physical Therapy and Fitness, LLC. She and her husband Ron, not quite yet empty-nesters, have 7 wonderful children that they enjoy spending time with –at the family cabin, taking family trips, cook-outs at home, church activities.
