Alyssa graduated from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul with a degree in Exercise Science, and then received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Vermont in Burlington. She practiced in Vermont, working at a critical access hospital doing both inpatient and outpatient physical therapy work. She most recently worked in West Salem, WI at a private physical therapy clinic, where she was introduced to the Fascial Counterstrain (FCS) and Strain Counterstrain (SCS) techniques, in addition to myofascial release, muscle energy and kinesiotaping techniques. She took the Foundations of FCS course in February 2022.

Alyssa joined Daulton Physical Therapy in July 2022 and is thrilled to be part of such a wonderful team of individuals. She is a licensed physical therapist in the state of Wisconsin and also has a certification in dry needling. Alyssa's passion is to help patients' lives be transformed through physical healing and wellness, so that they can be restored to their full potential and return to doing the things that bring them joy. She believes in treating patients from a whole-body perspective, and strives to provide patient education that empowers patients to better understand their own health.

When Alyssa is not at the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their golden retriever. She also likes to hike, canoe, camp, and cross country ski.
