Desiree McBride graduated from University of Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy in 1989. She started her career at New England Memorial Hospital, working in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. After Desiree moved to Minnesota, she worked as a pediatric physical therapist in the hospital, outpatient, school and home health settings. After having her own three children, she became interested in manual therapy and outpatient orthopedics. She has spent the last eighteen years in this setting. She has studied myofascial release, strain counter strain, muscle energy techniques, kinesio taping, and Mulligan Techniques. She believes firmly in giving patients the best possible care, and she works hard to find the most efficient treatment for her patients. Desiree's philosophy is to complete thorough evaluations, treat patients with hands-on manual techniques, instruct them in the most effective exercises, and educate them on their conditions and self-help techniques.
***Currently, Desiree is on sabbatical with her husband in Shanghai and will be returning to us in the summer of 2018
